I loved the first podcast, with Hans Zimmer. He is very smart and quite charming. Thoroughly enjoyable interview. That second podcast with Jaron Lanier is brilliant. I was nodding my head a lot. Deserves repeated listening.

Hans Zimmer seemed charming and funny. Nearly every time I love the music in a movie, I find out it is Hans Zimmer. Wonderful! I also really like the late Jerry Goldsmith’s movie scores. Another prolific composer.
I am struggling with the “Metaverse.” Things are getting scary. I heard Elon Musk say this morning that AI is the scariest problem – that we should start regulating it right now before it takes over and threatens our very existence, because everything humans do will be done much better by AI. Anyone else saying this, I would dismiss it. But I tend to pay attention to a genius.
