After reading some of your comments I want to say that I think Greenpeace has contributed a lot of good, but maybe hasn’t been as effective in terms of whaling as Sea Shephard. I think that should not mean that you get to put the money you earmarked for Greenpeace this year into lottery tickets or booze… :) It just means that maybe one has to spread one’s money across several different organizations that might be smaller, but act stronger in the areas of your interest.

Thanks Ottmar, I suppose I have been one of the many gullible contributors for many years. Last summer I was approached by a nice young lady while walking to the sand at Laguna Beach, CA. She had all the credentials and permits hanging around her neck so I gave in order to set an example for the child I was with. I am saddened.

Lilies that fester are stinkier than stink weeds. Pretending to help save whales they are worse than worthless if this is true and I guess it must be.Hard to imagine them being able to sleep with that on their conscience. Thank you for helping people know ,so more can be done to save these special mammals.
