Photos & People

My photos rarely have people in them. Recently I came across this old Adams quote which I naturally love. :-)

To the complaint, ‘There are no people in these photographs,’ I respond, There are always two people: the photographer and the viewer.

– Ansel Adams.

We are in Sedona and I took an early morning walk.

Check out this Japanese photographer who has been creating people-less images in Tokyo for several decades. That has to be difficult to do!

It’s almost eerie to find peopleless streets of Tokyo since these amazingly beautiful pictures were all taken in very busy areas of Tokyo. I lived in Tokyo for two years in mid eighties, even back then, these streets were always filled with so many people and bright like daylight 24/7.
