Yesterday we left Santa Fe @ 06:30am and drove to the Albuquerque airport, where we caught a 09:00am flight to Dallas. From Dallas we flew to Mexico City. We made it through immigration and customs and found the counter of Aeromar which operates the flight to Manzanillo. Then we discussed with the airline whether the big white flight case of the upright bass would fit on small the plane. Yes, no, maybe..... Meanwhile we try to phone the promoter in Manzanillo. Finally the airline counter people say the bass case might fit. We make it to the hotel in Manzanillo around 08:30pm, after about 15 hours of travel. Today I wake up to 93% humidity and a beautiful view of the coast of Mexico. Tonight Jon and I will perform for 25 minutes and tomorrow morning @ 08:00am we will start our 15 hour journey home.
